I should really begin when I was at my lowest ebb. This was in hospital when I was in quite a poor state of health. Whilst there, I was concerned about where I would go to.

I had been in hospital for nearly two years and was a bit worried about the prospect of having my own place, and if I would cope at all. Shortly before I was to be discharged from hospital, Adullam provided the support and assistance that would enable me to get back on my feet.

This came in the shape of project workers Andy and Jeff who sorted out all the details and things I was worried about when moving into my new place. Adullam eased me into my flat and worked alongside my family to make sure everything about my transition from hospital went smoothly. In fact the support from Adullam is always there, something that I value very much.

I have had a great couple of years in my flat, but unfortunately I will soon move elsewhere due to the demolition of the block which will take place shortly. The good news is that I have a brand new house which is not too far away from my present location. I am really looking forward to this, and hope that everything goes as smoothly as it did before.

Without Adullam's support I don't think I would have been able to adjust after my discharge from hospital. Adullam has enabled me to maintain my independence and everything that goes with it.
